The Latvian Presence...

Madara Silina arrived this weekend from Tukums in Latvia to stay with us for 3 weeks of Job Shadow. Madara (18) has been involved in a number of e2000 and Global Voice projects in the past and has come to e2000 to see how we work and to develop new projects together.

This International partnership of young people will come together to make an International film across 4 countries to inspire local young people in making change. In addition we'll develop a website to broadcast the film that will allow youth to publish their own short films and guides to active participation.
On 26th July 2005 leaders from the 5 countries involved will meet in Newcastle and North Tyneside for 4 days to develop the project. There will be opportunities for young people to get involved so please contact us if you are a film-maker, script writer or love using a camera!
